» The random sampling of the mind of Brian Tang, on a semi-regular basis. New and improved since 2003!

Welcome to my blog, powered by Blogger. Although I've had a blog for nearly 3 years, I really didn't know what to say.

Nowadays, things have more busy, hectic, exciting, funny, happy, satifsying, sexy, and maybe just may be the most important time in my life. School's winding down, my career is shaping up, and the winds are blowing in my favour. However, that isn't to say that I don't feel the world's pressure on my shoulders; it just means that I'll be complaining less about it, and might just have something worth sharing with the world.

So look around if you dare, thanks for stopping by, and try not to feed the trolls. :)

Celebrity encounter of the 99th kind

As Royal Canadian Air Farce would say, he's as handsome as ever.Just got word from my sister that she saw TSN Off The Record host Michael Landsberg in a Toronto-area breakfast restaurant earlier today. That is all (and yes, this means that I have broken as many sports-related stories as Landsberg has in 10 years - joking of course, OTR is a good sports talk show). OTR is also one of my favourite spoofed vehicles from Royal Canadian Air Farce.

Jays got Overbay... and probably overpaid for him in my opinion. But at least they are dealing from their strength (young pitching prospects). Now if only Riccardi can somehow turn Hinske, Batista, Hillenbrand/Koskie, and Hill/Adams/Hudson (hopefully not the O-Dawg, love his defensive ability) into one big(ger) bat.

Lastly, for anyone who cares, yes, I'm falling behind in studying for the finals again, but this year, studying is not as important as just thinking. At least three of the courses I took this semester are more about understanding the material and its practical application, and so memorizing dates and terminology is not as critical. Plus, I think I have a good understanding of the theory and have already absorbed the learnings into my life, so there's more time for me to enjoy games like NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 and F.E.A.R.: a thinking man's games. ;)
