» 32 hours and counting

Welcome to my blog, powered by Blogger. Although I've had a blog for nearly 3 years, I really didn't know what to say.

Nowadays, things have more busy, hectic, exciting, funny, happy, satifsying, sexy, and maybe just may be the most important time in my life. School's winding down, my career is shaping up, and the winds are blowing in my favour. However, that isn't to say that I don't feel the world's pressure on my shoulders; it just means that I'll be complaining less about it, and might just have something worth sharing with the world.

So look around if you dare, thanks for stopping by, and try not to feed the trolls. :)

32 hours and counting

zzzThat's right girls and gals: little ol' me has gone 32 hours without a second of rest, thanks to the last minute rush to finish the final negotiations session in MGTC52 (Wednesday 7 PM), group case study in MGTD06 (Thursday 9 AM), and group case study and presentation in MGTD12 (Thursday 3 PM). Last time I felt the warm embrace of Mr. Sandman was 11 AM on Wednesday.

At least I've been able to pull it off; I think my personal record is 42 hours straight without shuteye, back in my high school days when my body could take the punishment.

At least the adrideline rush is over, and I'm pretty pleased with the outcomes. The C52 negotiations went rather well and I think my team got the better deal, I wrapped up the D06 website and I'm getting a lot of great reviews of it (thanks for the kinds words peeps), and the D12 presentation was as good as you can expect for something that went through only one rehearsal and that was about an hour before we went. We "won" the bidding that the case study was about (pretend to be an ad agency and present a marketing/promotion plan to Proctor and Gamble for a new toothpaste product), and got a nice stationary tool kit (it's blue!). I feel good that the case writeup will also be on the mark after speaking with Aggarwal.

Oh, yeah and there's a Leafs game tonight. Looks like I'll be up for another 3 hours or so. It better be worth it; Kaberle, don't let me down!

Update [December 2nd, 2005]: I was able to get through one more hour and finally collapsed in my bed around 8 PM. Kaberle finished the night with 1 A, 1 PPP, and was +1.
