Welcome to my blog, powered by Blogger. Although I've had a blog for nearly 3 years, I really didn't know what to say.

Nowadays, things have more busy, hectic, exciting, funny, happy, satifsying, sexy, and maybe just may be the most important time in my life. School's winding down, my career is shaping up, and the winds are blowing in my favour. However, that isn't to say that I don't feel the world's pressure on my shoulders; it just means that I'll be complaining less about it, and might just have something worth sharing with the world.

So look around if you dare, thanks for stopping by, and try not to feed the trolls. :)

Touch 'em all Tom...

R.I.P Mr. Tom Cheek, my favourite Toronto Blue Jay.The passing of Tom Cheek is a great loss to the game of baseball and Toronto Blue Jays fans. I will truly miss his straightforward and honest manner of broadcasting, whether it was back when I fell for the game in 1990, during the Jays' epic World Series runs in 1992 and 1993, and up to his last game where I could still go to sleep happy listening to him call a west coast game.

I implore all of you to honour Mr. Cheek by extending him an opportunity to achieve one of the highest recognitions for a baseball broadcaster and enter a ballot every day until November 30th for Tom in the 2006 Ford Frick Award Nominee Voting. It would be a disgrace to the man if he is not at least one of the broadcaster nominees for entering the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

I'm a little late in posting this, but I feel very strongly about this, and I only wish I had the compassion to post this earlier on. Fortunately, I can still do him justice and vote for him so everyone can see just how special Tom is, and I hope you will do the same.

Thanks Tom for over 4,306 memories, and counting.

Update [11/23/2005]: Voting link updated to latest change by HHOF.
