Welcome to my blog, powered by Blogger. Although I've had a blog for nearly 3 years, I really didn't know what to say.

Nowadays, things have more busy, hectic, exciting, funny, happy, satifsying, sexy, and maybe just may be the most important time in my life. School's winding down, my career is shaping up, and the winds are blowing in my favour. However, that isn't to say that I don't feel the world's pressure on my shoulders; it just means that I'll be complaining less about it, and might just have something worth sharing with the world.

So look around if you dare, thanks for stopping by, and try not to feed the trolls. :)

IBM, Poni, H&M

Today I actually have a day off from most of the pressures of life, which has recently become rare for me on a Tuesday, despite the fact I have no scheduled classes. But that doesn't mean that I cannot just do nothing (in which nothing is defined as having fun with my hobbies, including working on this website, although last night I made the Lyrics page a lot easier to use now).

My future?

I have an interview with Andy Gardener of IBM Canada tomorrow for a co-op position in Sales Operations and Channel Execution, which sounds very similar to my previous work term at Microsoft Canada, which included working on the Sales Channel team. Although it's been almost 2 years since my last interview (I was at MS for 8 months and at school for a year), I feel pretty good about this opportunity. I went to 4 interviews my last co-op job hunt, and was ranked by 3 of them (2 of them as first rank), and this was back when I had nothing but Timmies experience as a Supervisor. I actually have experience now in the sales/marketing field in the technology sector, took a lot of relevant courses at UTSC in marketing, advertising, and economics, all in the "information age", and my skill set in technical and transferable competencies have also improved. Hrm, this would make a good generic interview response *opens up notepad*...

Poni scores the game winner last night! Last season (i.e. 2003-04), the big guy had 2 GWG in the 9 he potted. I doubt he'll get more than 10/20/30 this year, but if he puts in another 1 or 2 winners, I think he earned a spot, albeit on the 3rd/4th line.

Anyone know Christian Bagnoud of H&M Canada? I have to make a cold call to the Director of Marketing for the MGTC05 group case study. Let's hope I pronounce his last name right...

Today's Music: Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dyin'
I went sky divin' I went, rocky mountain climbin' I went, 2.7 seconds, on a bull name Fu Manchu And I loved deeper And I spoke sweeter And I gave forgiveness I've been denying And he said someday I hope you get the chance To live like you were dyin'
